Green Construction Corp. was founded in 1948 by Herschel V Green in Miami, Florida, and remains privately held. Green Construction Corp. has received numerous awards for the construction of millions of square feet of high end commercial space.
Our team is led by Richard M. Horton, President of Green Construction Corp. and recipient of the Hall of Fame from the Builder's Association of South Florida and Florida Home Builders Association. The current management team has worked together for over 40 years.

Leadership
President
Mr. Horton has a strong background in value engineering and knows how an improvement will function over its life cycle in order to determine true cost. He is responsible for design and development of office buildings, high-rise apartments, multi-family housing, garden apartments, and retail centers in the Florida area in Miami, Palm Beach, Plantation, Tampa, and Orlando. As qualifier for Green Construction Corp., Mr. Horton oversees all construction activities including: Direct project management, construction budget preparation and monitoring, securing of all required building and occupancy permits, direct involvement with architects and engineers in planning, and design/development of projects.
